“Norwest Ship Management AS has signed an agreement with Eckerö Shipping Ab Ltd to buy the two sistervessels M/S Exporter and M/S Shipper.
Norwest Ship Management AS is pleased to announce that we have bought the two identical sistervessels M/S Exporter and M/S Shipper from Eckerö Shipping Ab Ltd. M/V Exporter will start on a time charter in January 2023. In July 2023 the ownership will be transferred to Norwest. Furthermore the sistervessel M/S Shipper will be transferred to Norwest at the beginning of 2024.
The latest acquisition means that the fleet has grown by five 5 this year to a total of 10 vessels, emphasizing the company’s strong belief
in the shortsea MPP market. The latest tally of 6 geared sideloaders, 2 combined sideloaders/ro-ro and 2 ro-ro vessels mean that we can offer an unparalleled range of solutions for our valued partners.”
