The history of the company J. Gran & Co. A/S, Bergen.
The young and ambitious shipping man, Mr. Johnny Gran, established in 1919 his own brokering company named J. Gran & Co. A/S situated in Bergen on the West Coast of Norway.
Since then the company has, in spite of turbulent periods in shipping, been successful and active in the market. The basis for the company was international Chartering combined with Sale and Purchase and Clearance.
Today the company is concentrating its activity in the fields of sale and purchase and contracting.
The J. Gran & Co. A/S is owned by five partners whom all are taking part in the daily run of the brokering service.
